Very cozy and cute place, we wait only 3 mins to get our table, we ordered salmon fish and chips with fried yams, clam chowder soup and kids menu, good price and good service, def a place to hit while visiting Steveston!

It was a good place! We ordered two halibut and two codfish, my boyfriend preferred the halibut, but I really liked the cod. Everything was super fresh, and I loved it. The Caesar salad was just okay, but the service was amazing!
Dave's Halibut and fries is very good. Crunchy and tasty batter. We also got the platter. Things have had a slight change on the menu since we last came 3 years ago. From what I understand, Dave's has a new manager? Or new management? Not sure. If someone can confirm this that would be appreciated. Thank you.
Couldn't believe the portions they were fantastic. The food was good value and excellent flavour. Service was quick and efficient, friendly easy going. Great choice for fish. I had the salmon and the others had halibut really enjoyed it.
Celiac here! I haven’t ate fish & chips in 8 years and Daves fish & chips did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and fresh. Had halibut, salmon, yam fries and coleslaw. We will definitely be back!
